What You Need to Run 37″ Tires

So you want to throw some 37s on your Wrangler! It’s not as simple as taking it to the tire shop and having them installed. There are some fundamental upgrades that you need to do first!

Now, I am sure some hillbilly is going to comment on how they’ve run 37s on a Dana 30 for the last 10 years and that I’m telling people to waste money on uneccesary parts. Maybe that’s accurate, but I would rather run trails in a properly built off-road vehicle than a ticking bomb that I need to baby up every hill.

Checkout my video to find out what I feel needs to be done to your JK before it will be ready to reliably run 37s…LONG TERM!

One thing I don’t touch on here is brakes; I have a 2-door and it’s not really an issue, but I will be doing a video on installing JT brakes on a JK soon.

Enjoy!
