Hi-Lift Rollbar Jack Mount

I’ve owned a hi-lift jack for quite some time, but when I go wheeling, I always ended up just tossing it into the back of my Jeep. I did this because I just don’t like any of the external mounting options; mainly due to the fact that the jack tends to rust in the wrong places and also, it’s another thing I have to worry about getting stolen.

I found a great product from Hi-Lift that mounts the jack onto my rollbar, inside my Jeep; out of the elements; and safe from thievery.

Long-Term Test: Smittybilt XRC Tailgate

I’ve had the Smittybilt XRC Tailgate on my Jeep for just over a year now; and I felt it was time for a long-term review. Now, I am aware that this product has been discontinued by Smittybilt however, they are still readily available on Amazon as well as eBay. They are also a fantastic product if you run 35-37 inch tires and don’t want to run a seperate tire carrier. There are also lots of JKs out there on the used market that just might have one of these tailgates installed.

So I feel this review isn’t entirely useless.
