If you have a Jeep with the 3.6L regardless of the year, you’re driving around a ticking bomb. Emphasis on ticking. This engine has a flaw; the factory oil filter assembly does not have a drain-stop valve. So in 45 minutes, the top end is bone dry; all he oil has drained back into the bottom end. So that means that you’re dry-starting your 3.6; and each dry-start damages the valve-train.
