While I was in Moab this spring I learned a painful lesson…the hard way. That less was that the stock hood prop rod on my 2012 JK…SUCKS ASS IN HIGH WIND!!! The wind caught my hood and smaked it against my windshield frame. There wasn’t any damage to the frame, but there is a notricable crease on my hood now. I guess I got off somewhat lucky, but there was still damage.
I decided to permanently remedy this problem with a set of Rival Off-Road Hood Struts for my JK.
